Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are the fees?
    Under 12, Under 10, and Under 8 players: $115.00 per player. U6: $80.00 per player. There is a $5.00 discount for multiple children ($110.00 per child if you are registering 2 or more children). More information regarding registration is available HERE Fees stated here are regular season fees. An "early registration" discount is offered beginning with the Century School Carnival and valid until the last day of school.
  • What are the age cutoffs?
    Under 6 players must turn 4 by AUGUST 1st of the current year to be eligible to play soccer. The current age cutoff guidelines are posted on the registration page.

  • What does my child need to play soccer?
    Players must wear shinn guards, cleats and the appropriate size soccer ball for their age group. U/6 and U/8 play with a size 3 ball.  U/10 and U/12 play with a size 4 ball.

  • When are practices and games?
    Practices dates and times are established by team coaches. Games are played on Saturdays during the morning and early afternoon at various schools within the Clovis Unified School District. If you have more than one child playing in different age groups, please know that it is likely they will be playing at different schools.
  • Can my child move up to the next age group?
     A player shall only be able to play up one birth year and may not displace a child who is age appropriate. (Example: A first year U8 cannot play at the U10 level; however a second year U8 may. A second year U8 player may not play up to U10 if any U10 player is turned away from that club due to lack of U10 team roster space.)

    A player may not play in a lower age group, but may play in a higher age group with written request from the parents and with written approval of the Club Commissioner.

  • When and where do I register my child to play?

  • How can I become a Coach?
    Contact Brad Marsoobian by email at Commissioner@centurysoccer.net. Remember, you don’t have to know how to play soccer to coach.  The gift of your time and effort is perhaps the finest gift of all. ALL coaches must obtain a "minimum" Pre-F license to coach U6 - U10. U12 Coaches MUST obtain an F license. Clinics are offered through CJSL and are FREE.
  • My child does not attend Century, can he/she play for Century Soccer?
    Yes.  If your child meets the age requirements and lives within Century’s district, your child can play for Century Soccer.

    If your child lives in another school’s district, or attends another school, and you want your child to play for Century Soccer, you must first obtain written permission from that school’s soccer club.  Contact Registrar@centurysoccer.net for clarification.
